Well, today I told my kids after dinner I was running next door to see how my neighbor's move was going. Everyone heard (or so I thought), and the 2 youngest went over with me and the oldest followed after a few minutes. Well, my middle one was so into getting her job of dish washing done she didn't hear me or her older sister say where we were going. When her chores were done she did not know where we all had gone. Luckily, she went to our backyard friend's house who saved the day and calmed her down. I was right outside but she couldn't see me when she looked. Thank you Mia for saving the day.
I am grateful for good friends and neighbors. :)

Oh Nelly, I did this SAME EXACT THING the other day and my girls were freaking out. I told them I was running next door, but whatever. I guess I'm a terrible mom too.
I am glad that I was there so she could come find me. Love your sweet family.
Dang if that is all it takes to make you a bad mom, someone better call the authorities on me! Boy do I have tales of bad parenting! But I'll be a monkeys uncle if I post them on the internet for all to read. :)
So I just figures out that you have a blog too. I have always gone to Andy's thinking that was yours. Cheeky Monkey!
And you are NOT a terrible mother!
Jenifer you really arn't a terible mom. You are only a terible book reader.
Way to go with the award... I am so proud of you:) Keep up the good communication and maybe you will win again next month. I won that award oh I think back in 2003 It is an honor to win the same award as you my friend
